Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English the other half Spanish. Their parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentine of Scottish as well as English origin. Her mother is of Spanish origin. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria region in London. Taylor-Joy said it was an emotional move and she refused to learn English since she was hoping to come back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the transferred from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she took ballet classes and appeared in school plays. When she was 16 she quit school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actress. She was offered a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered modeling work.
