Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, TV host and actress famous for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. She was born and brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl has an extended family with numerous issues. Sheryl spent most of her youth caring for her sister Frankie with polio. When she was a child, she had difficulties with her mom. Sheryl states that her mother once stabbed at her father because he was too close. Sheryl was a soldier upon her graduation from college. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. She was the first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV career in 1992 appearing as a frequently performing comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as a host on the TV show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. Also, she's appeared as an unnamed character on shows such as Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
