Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she took home American Idol in the first season. The victory not only propelled her to stardom, but also earned her a multi-album recording contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. Since her win, she's released a number recordings from her studio. From these three of them made it to the top of the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were one centimeter away. Her name is among the top artists who originate from the American Idol series. To achieve her success she played around with various musical styles, and explored subjects. To acknowledge her talents and distinctiveness, she's been rewarded with a variety of accolades and awards. She has been the most notable winner of Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award three times. Apart from her professional career in the field of music, she has also seen on TV and in film. She has also written the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with numerous charities.
