Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on by using her creative and imaginative imagination. The songs she wrote were composed before she could write and read. In 8 years, she was playing her first guitar. When she was 11 years old she started singing on Knoxville Tenn's radio station. The same the year that Gold Band Records was a small independent record label. In high school she made herself known to the community, but her ambition was bigger. After graduating high school in 1964, she immediately moved to Nashville. Her first charting records with Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. At about this time Porter Wagoner was looking for an actress to sing for his syndicated television show. Parton was offered the gig in 1967 and signed to RCA Records in 1968 and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. She left Wagoner's show, however, in 1974 because her solo albums like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene exceeded the sales of their joint albums. Parton following the breakup of their relationship with Wagoner she wrote the song I Will Always Love You and made it to Number. In 1974, Parton's song"I Will Always Love You" reached No.
