Amidst the potatoes, corn and wheat typically grown on the sprawling and spacious farms in Boise, Idaho, Torrie Wilson, one of wrestling's most athletic wrestlers, emerged. Wilson started her career as a fitness trainer, but in the late 90s she made a foray into sport entertainment following a trip to WCW. It was during a time when she was with her former boyfriend. After being with Scott Steiner into the ring for a couple of weeks after which she was in the business for almost ten years. In addition to competing with WCW, Wilson was also managing competitors such as David Flair, Billy Kidman and The Filthy Animals, and Shane Douglas. Wilson became a member of WWE shortly following WWE purchased WCW. Her athleticism and penchant for entertainment meant she was a perfect choice to WWE at the time of one of the entertainment industries' most significant eras. Wilson was a pivotal figure for WCW in the invasion of WWE because of her relationship with Stacy Kibler (her partner and sometimes adversaries). Wilson's participation in WCW's women's WWE division was initiated after that assault. Wilson had memorable rivalries, including with Keibler, Sable, Melina and Melina. Wilson stood up for her family from Dawn Marie.
